Hi I'm Eric

I'm a small business owner and family man, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 26 years and we have four great kids. Somtimes they drive us crazy but we love them anyway. By trade I'm a wood worker. I'm still trying to determine whether its a profession or a passion. For relaxation I enjoy gardening and raising beef cows. Spending time with my family is the great jow of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is not simple, and the clarity of the Lords teaching helps me to maintain a clear vision of the possablity of life after hardships. The gospel as taught by the Savior is the answer for the ills of life. The Saviors teachings helps me to avoid the pitfalls of life that invariably come along. I belive that the gospel as taught by Christ has been restored through the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints. My questions have have always been answered and despair is dispelled by living its principles. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Our local church group sponsers a Cub Scouts of America pack. Currently I am serving as the Cub Master for that group of boys. What that means is once a month a plan a get together for about thirty, 8-10 year old boys. I never thought that a man of my age could act as such a "little kid" and have so much fun doing it. Its amazing to see the faces of these boys light up as you award them with their scouting badges. If you want to be happy in life commit yourself to something that is bigger and better than yourself.
