Hi I'm Julianne

I've lived in Texas all my life. I play the violin and I love writing creatively. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the violin, and I love it. I also want to learn piano, cello, and viola. So far I only speak English, but during my life I also want to learn Spanish, French, German, Danish, and American Sign Language. I love writing creatively (mostly medieval-type fantasy with magic and mystical creatures), and I for my career I want to be a writer/editor. I'm not one for hiking, but when I get to the top of a mountain, the hard work is always worth it. I was home schooled for half of my schooling, and it was a great experience. I love my family and would do anything for them. I'm a big reader. I love to read fantasy and science fiction. Some of my favorites are Ender's Game, Harry Potter, and the Wheel of Time. I'm all about looking great! I always wear modest clothes and accessories that I love and look absolutely fantastic on me. I always wear a smile, and I love to laugh. I'm always looking for new friends. I love flowers, jewelry (has to be gold! I don't like silver jewelry), stuffed animals, and other pretty things.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up LDS. My family has been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for generations. But that's not why I'm Mormon. I've always known that the church is true. At least, I can't remember a time that I didn't. My parents are amazing people, who taught me to live right, be a good person, and to be happy in life. I live the gospel of Jesus Christ because it makes me happy. There was a time in my life when I didn't live how I knew I should. After a while I realized I wasn't really happy. Coming back to full activity in the church has made me such a happier person. The church helps me feel better when I'm down, knowing things will get better. I also believe in it and live it because I feel in my heart that it's true.

How I live my faith

I always try to be kind to everyone, not just people at church. In the grocery store, the library, walking down the street. Everywhere I go, I smile at everyone. I'm a firm believer that a smile will make anyone's day. I show people what I believe by how I act. I live the standards of my faith- dressing modestly, not drinking alcohol or smoking, not swearing, being a positive person, etc.- in everything I do and everywhere I go. When I go to church I listen for things that I can use in my life to make myself a better person. I look for opportunities to serve people around me, because service always makes me feel good, and Jesus said, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." I always want to be someone people can talk to and think of as a friend and a good person.
