Hi I'm Laura

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a funloving girl who likes to have a good time! I love Spending time with my family and friends. My family is the most important thing to me in my life and I would do anything for them. I have been married to my best friend for a year now and it has been the best year of my life! I love to read all kinds of books, I enjoy doing crafts and making things for our home. I enjoy shopping and eating out, I also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is so amazing. The feelings that I get when I attend my church meetings every Sunday and when I read the scriptures are indescribable. As a teenager I went through the normal things teenagers go through, I wanted to figure things out on my own. I didn't think that I needed the gospel in my life and decided that it wasn't a big deal if I didn't attended all my church meeting or read the scriptures. It wasn't long before my life started to not feel right, I wasn't happy I was confused about things and I just didn't know what to do. I decided at that point that I need to kneel down and talk to the lord and ask him for myself if the gospel was true. It was the most amazing feeling that I got and since then my life has turned around, I still have trials but know I am not alone in those trials I have the lord with me. I know that anyone who sits down and reads the Book of Mormon with an open mind and heart will feel the spirit. Those who are searching for peace can find that peace through their Savior, I know that because I have found that peace in my life. It is a life changing experience but it will change your life for the better. I love this gospel and I hope and pray that those searching will embrace it with open arms.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to others. I try to show others that you can have fun without drinking or doing drugs. I also live my faith by getting involved in my ward I try to attend all of my church meetings and love going to our monthly Relief Society meetings were we as women in the gospel can get together and learn of gospel principles and have fun! I also love doing my visiting teaching every month. I love to go and visit these amazing women and I love the feeling I get when I can help and be there for others when they need it! The gospel is so rewarding and it has made me the person I am today!
