Hi I'm Scott

I'm an aerospace engineer. I love athletics and the outdoors. I'm a husband, father and grandpa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love backpacking and fishing in the Colorado mountains, especially when my sons can join me. My birthplace was in California, graduated from the University of Utah and The University of Colorado. I am an aerospace engineer and get to help design space vehicle systems. I love seeing and visiting my children and my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

As I continue everyday through life, I have found simple joy and happines by striving to follow the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ and trying to pattern my behavior in life and toward others according to His teachings. This approach has helped me find great happiness in the relationships with those close to me and to everyone in general.

How I live my faith

I appreciate the opportunity to assist, help and serve others. These oppotunities are always available through participation in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One opportunity I have had recently is to learn about personal preparation for disasters and emergencies and to help others become better prepared too. This experience lead me to learn much about some of our surrounding government agency's procedures and simple good-sense things we can do to be better prepared for an emergency.
