Hi I'm Don

I was adopted to loving parents who taught me many good principles centered around the teachings of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have been married to an Angel for nearly 30 years! We have 5 wonderful children and 4 of the greatest grandchildren ever! Our family like most enjoy family activities, usually being outdoors. But truth being told....there is some awesome video game competitions in our home, especially when all the children and grandkids come over for BBQ's! I love my profession of Occupational Therapy that I provide in the state of Arizona, mostly with our seniors in skilled nursing centers and homes. As a child, I was truly bless to be 'adopted' by loving, caring, parents, and a new big brother! Our family continued to grow with my parents adopting a baby girl two years later, that followed with my mother in the next few years being able to have her own natural births of two more brothers! Our parents taught us all the principles and life lessons of our Savior Jesus Christ as they believed and have been taught throughout their lives in the Mormon faith. As a family, that I have always continued to follow their example with my own family by not just attending Sunday services, but serving outside ourselves and look for ways to brighten others lives through real love and service to all we can. This priniciple has helped me recogenized that we do have a conscience that testifies of right and wrong, and what is good and bad. It's very simple for me to understand now that I'm older, and have a clearer picture of this worldly confusion that currently surrounds most of our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I'm a Mormon because since I was born, miracles began that set in motion special angel's (mortal and not) that intervened in my behalf on this journey to know where I came from, why I'm here, and where do I really go and do after this earthly life has past. It started with the faith and testimonies of Jesus Christ from a good family and friends. My testimony grew and was enhanced during my service for two years as a Mormon Missionary in Mississippi and Louisiana. I have developed a deep understanding of those who have come before us and their sacrifices for our behalf. Many who have kept journals and those who were called to write down the words of God in scripture. My heart burns, and my soul hungers for this truth as it affects my life to that day and hour for comfort as I read the words in the Bible and Book of Mormon. But most of all....My testimony came from understanding and knowing repentance and sacrifice and perfect love from my brother Jesus Christ during those times of trials and temptations that he so has forgiven me for and has showed me mercy and comfort in times of despair. My testimony continues to strive during these times by being with and having real LOVE from a family that you would sacrifice yourself through kindness and service for their happiness and success through service and love outside of just themselves. My wife, my eternal companion pray for this, we believe 'Famlies are Forever! In conclusion to this wonderful opportunity to share my testimony....My testimony is real, it has help others to feel the power of truth through the Spirit of the Holy Ghost that bears it's truth through our Savior Jesus Christ. I know through sincere prayer and desire that the Lord has restored His church again by Prophets that have been called to spread His Gospel, and gather His children in these last days before His triumphant return! You are ready to know what is real and truth. I bear this message in His name Jesus Christ, AMEN

How I live my faith

My occupation is mostly physical rehabilitation. I have seen throughout my career many people who have lost limbs and have lost abilities that at one time they thought made them whole. My teachings of the life and mission of our brother and Savior Jesus the Christ has helped me give strength to the weak and comfort to the souls of not just them, but those who they love. I've seen many miracles from just the touch of those who have been chosen to serve. Many of these things are personal, but have come from opportunities to serve in His Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). I have been bless to have had many callings, that taught me how to help others in many capacities. My favorite calling was being a Mormon Missionary in the Mississippi, Jackson Mission for two years! I met so many special, loving, good rightious people of many faiths who desired to find pure truth and happiness. Most of my callings to serve has been 'Teaching' the youth! My greatest calling has been marrying my wife in the Lord's holy temple for time and all eternity! knowing that our family is eternal seals this blessing for me. I want to never lose this blessing, this calling to be a good and worthy husband and father to my wife and children.
