Hi I'm Kelda

I grew up in Phoenix. I am a wife, mother, and a teacher of students with special needs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to a non-LDS member for 11 years, who will soon be baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a mother of two girls, ages 7 and 9. I am a public school teacher of special needs students. I enjoy photography/scrapbooking, sharing time with friends and traveling with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I attended church services and activites throughout my childhood as my mother and grandparents were LDS. I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 8 years old, as is customary. I am a Daughter of the Utan Pioneers through my mothers lineage. I have a testimony of the Gospel and the blessings it brings as I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church services weekly. I pray and strive to read the scriptures daily. I have callings (responsibilities) in the church that bring me joy and bless my life. I am part of a group of women that are responsible for the children up to age 12. I help other members in our ward who are in need as well as contribute with members to helping other groups in our community. I live my life as an example to my family and others that promotes a faithful, healthy, charitable, optimistic lifestyle.
