Hi I'm Jenna Winters

I'm a mother of two & wife of one amazing, hard working man. I grew up in Chandler, Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dancer and have danced since I was a little girl. I have learned that I love to read. I love crafting, baking, cooking and decorating my home. My family and friends are really important to me and help me get through my days of a stay at home mom. I married into an amazing, strong family. My husband and I have been friends since high school and didn't start dating until he got home from his LDS mission. We got engaged 4 months after we started dating and were married and sealed in the Mesa, AZ temple 3 months after that. We are so blessed to have each other. I have two kids and they are everything to me! I had Londyn in 2008 and Maverick in 2010. They are 15 months apart and best friends. I get such a joy out of teaching my children gospel principles. They love to see the pictures of Jesus and the temples at the church buildings. I love this gospel and have a strong testimony of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church and have had the realization many times througout my life that what I believe is true and what makes me happy. I was raised in a big family. I am the 6th out of 7 children. My little brother is currently serving a mission in Everett, Washington and we are all so proud of him. Before he left on his mission, my parents and every single one of my siblings were able to be at the temple together. It was the most special and precious time for our family. We all got a taste of what Heaven is like. That alone is why we keep the commandments and live the gospel. Families can be together forever. I only hope that all my children in the future can be able to be a the temple with my husband and I.

How I live my faith

I love the feeling I get when I am in church, at the temple, reading my scriptures, reading my patriarchal blessing, or just listening to gospel music. I know that it is the spirit and nothing else is more comforting than the Holy Ghost. Sitting in church with my family is such a wonderful feeling. Coming from a big family, I am so grateful that my parents took us to church every Sunday and held Family Home Evening every Monday night. It was hard at times with fussy babies and grumpy teenagers, but because of their faith, they came back every Sunday. I have them to thank for setting that example for me. There are so many distractions in this world today that can lead us astray from feeling the love of our savior. We all have a reason why we are on this earth today so why not live your life in a way that we can show our Heavenly Father we are trying to make it back to him?
