Hi I'm Amber

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a wonderful husband and mother of three sweet children. I am a stay at home mom and absolutely love that. I love children and love being a mom. I have a bachelors degree from ASU in family studies/ child development. Some other things I enjoy are reading, shopping, water skiing, soccer, vacations & outings and running. I have run one marathon so far and would like to someday do another one, but we'll see. I also love holidays, especially Christmas. I love baking, decorating, shopping and getting ready for each holiday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon my whole life. Even as a young girl I knew God lived. I knew Jesus Christ also lived and was His son. I knew they loved me and knew me. I first learned about these things through church and my parents. As I got older my understanding grew and my (mormon) religion brought me so much comfort and answers. It helped me know who I really was. I love the church and its teaching. It is everything to me in my life. I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church on the earth, I know He leads and guides and directs His church. The church has made my life full and happy. Despite hard times that come into life I am happy and that is because of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the comfort, peace and guidance it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

My faith is a huge part of who I am and how I live. I try to pattern my life after the teachings of Jesus Christ. I try to reach out to others as He did. I try to each day be kinder and a better person. I also live my faith by teaching my children these things. The church is a big part of our lives, we go every Sunday and also have many other oppertunities during the month to be with members of our church. We are all divided into wards depending on where we live, in each ward we are given certain assigments we call callings. Right now I get to help in the women's organization. It is for all women 18 and older. I love being with these women and love their goodness. We have many oppertunities to help out and give service both in our ward and in the community. These service oppertunities have really blessed my life.
