Hi I'm Shelle

I live in Colorado with my husband and four young children. I'm a TaeBo instuctor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person that loves being active, being a wife to an amazing man and a mother to our four beautiful children. I enjoy doing most all sports, mostly soccer, swimming, softball and volleyball. I have recently found a new activty that I absolutly love doing, Tae Bo. I am a certified Tae Bo instructor. I never thought in a million years that I would be a fitness instructor. My life is already so crazy with all of the kids schedules and being very involved at church, but Tae Bo has given me a new reason to be excited about living a healthy lifestyle. I've found that it's important to take a little time each day for myself. I love being with my family, going on family bike rides, going swimming, going to the park or just sitting around playing games. My family means the world to me. I was raised in a very large family, always having brothers and sisters around me to play with. They are some of my very best friends now. I hope to be able to see that same connection between my children someday too.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love and believe everything this church stands for. We believe in Jesus Christ. We strive to follow His example in our everyday lives. We love to help others learn of Him.  I am very thanful for having the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in my life. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan for me and for each of us. I can't express how grateful I am that I have the knowledge of knowing where I came from, why I am here and where I am going. Without knowing that I think I might feel very lost and lonely in this big, scary world. It's also a huge comfort now that I am raising my own children that I can teach them about this plan Heavenly Father has for us. I am very thankful for the temples and the covenants we can make there to be sealed to one another for eternity. Eternal families is one principal that got me through many years of saddness in my youth after my dad passed away when I was at the very young age of 8. I knew that everything was going to be okay because my parents were married in the temple and I knew that I would get to be with my dad again someday. I can't begin to explain how much comfort that brought to me as a little girl. I am so grateful that we have a loving Savior, Jesus Christ who was willing to come to Earth and show us the way that we should follow. He suffered and died for me and for you so that we might be able to be forgiven of our sins and return to live with Him and our Father in Heaven again someday. I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to talk with my Heavenly Father through prayer and that I know he hears me and he cares about me and He does answer prayers. I know that we have a living prophet on the Earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. Our Heavenly Father loves us too much to leave us alone in this world, He communicates with the prophet to help us know how we should live our lives. I know if we will listen to the prophet we won't be lead astray.

How I live my faith

I live each day trying my best to follow the example the Savior set for me. I try to make new friends and be kind to everyone. I try to help others when I see a need. I attend church weekly to get re-energized and prepared for the following week and to be reminded of gospel principles that help strengthen my testimony. I try to be the mother for my children that my mother was for me.
