Hi I'm Abram

I am an Arizonan, born and raised. I LOVE spending time with my family and friends whenever and wherever. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married to an awesome gal, and together we have 3 sweet children. They are the highlight of my life. We love playing games, going swimming (in Arizona that's a given), exploring the great outdoors and of course, cuddling up on the couch for a movie. After too many years of figuring out what I wanted to do with my professional life, I finally earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration. I now enjoy my work as an Insurance Adjuster because there's something new to investigate every day. My hobbies include almost all sports, especially volleyball, basketball, mountain biking and swimming. I also volunteer at a local hospital pharmacy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon home and enjoyed a great variety of church activities through my formative years. When I was out of highschool however, I had to ask myself, "Am I a member of this church for convenience only? I mean, a lot of my friends were members, I felt good inside whenever I participated in church activities etc, but is there something more to all of it?? So I took the challenge from one of my loving youth leader to find out for myself if this was the true restored Church of Christ. Over a 3 month time span, I dedicated all my leisure time to a personal study of the holy scriptures, reflection and then praying to God for answers to my questions. Then I knelt down and asked God if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the church He was directing through a living Prophet. In answer to my prayer, I felt an unmistakable reassurance that this Church is true. I cannot deny the truly sweet witness that was born in my heart and soul. I know God hears and answers our prayers! Since then, I have had my personal testimony confirmed and reconfirmed many times.

How I live my faith

I currently have a "calling" in the Church to voluntarily serve as a youth leader in the Young Men's program. I love it. I think back to the wonderful examples from leaders I had in my youth and I have many fond memories. I enjoy interacting with the the youth and their exuberance and I hope to be a positive example to the rising generation. I especially enjoy the Scouting activities. So many valuable lessons are learned and shared as I serve in the Church's programs. Serving others truly brings blessings to my life.
