Hi I'm Paul.

I grew up an Air Force brat living all over the United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As an accountant I work to support our proposals to our customers. Trying to understand cost is an interesting challenge. Outside of work I enjoy identifying my ancesters, both direct and sidelines, attending plays, and watch sports with my sports fanatic wife. Yes, quality time with my wife includes all types of sports. I am a lucky man. My children are nearly all grown and we look foward with excitement and sadness to being home alone. My children have grown more and more independent as they age but they are not afraid to come back home. We love them and worry every day about their relationships, schooling, jobs, and how they deal with the problems that come to all of them.

Why I am a Mormon

My father joined the Church in his late teens. My mother was a member of the church from birth. So I have had the priveledge of membership throughout my life. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was taught to me from my youth. As I grew I came to realize my actions were anything but perfect, even though I had been taught by both of my parents. I really felt a need to understand if all my mistakes could really be forgiven. In a sincere prayer to my Heavenly Father I received a witness of the truth. Our Lord Jesus Christ truely did come into this world and atone for the sins of all mankind if they will repent, including me. I have grown to love the stories taught in the scriptures. The scriptures teach the word of God. By obedience to the commandments I have discovered for myself the truth the Gospel of Jesus Christ and continue to receive evidence of truth of what I was taught as a child and continue to learn as an adult.

How I live my faith

I continue to serve in my Church in whatever role I am asked by leadership. I have been a teacher in our Primary, teaching nursery age children, five year olds, and 11 year olds at different times. I have been involved with scouting and have seen my own sons excel to the rank of eagle. I have been to quite a number of scout camps during the summer. I have served in administrative roles and currently service as a assistant financial clerk. In each of my callings I have learned about my own strenghts and weaknesses and have had the great opportunity to serve with others from all walks of life. We have many friendships and enjoy the fellowship of our fellowsaints. I believe this service has brought me greater joy. Sometimes we make mistakes. We are people who together are learning to become like our Savior. Of course there may be bumps along the way. We learn from our bumps and grow in His service. I love that part of the Gospel.
