Hi I'm Seth

I am currently serving a mission, I love seeing things and people grow, I speak Spanish, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy spending time in the outdoors whether it is quadding, rappelling, fishing, or camping. My hobbies mainly consist of creating new things. I really enjoy architectural design and hope to become a developer in the future. I am a brother to 7 siblings. I love my family, they mean the world to me. I am currently serving a 2-year mission in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission. I have obtained the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouting program and served as Treasurer of my high school FFA chapter. I come from a long line of Arizona ranchers that have carved out a place for people in Arizona. I have grown up to love and respect the land. I am very proud of my heritage and am strengthened by the examples of those that have gone before.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to grow up in the Church and have had a testimony of this Gospel since I was just a little kid in Sunday school. Over the years I have been questioned a lot about my religion and why I am a part of it. My response to these questions used to be, “Because my Mom told me it was true and she does not lie!” I was once accused of being “brainwashed” from the time I was a kid to believe that what I was taught about this Gospel was true. This accusation made me think about why I was a member of this Church. I knew right off the bat that I did have a testimony but I had to be sure that I knew for myself. As Christ teaches in John, "If any man will do His will, he shall know the doctrine." The best way to gain a testimony is to live the truths of God and read His word. By diligent study of the Bible and Book of Mormon, I have come to know that this message of restored truth is in fact of God, and the Holy Spirit has reassured me that this conclusion is one of truth. "Prove me now herewith, saith the Lord." Malachi 3:10 (KJV)

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I have the chance to work daily to become a fully converted disciple of Jesus Christ. I am blessed by the opportunity to share Gospel truths with those to whom I have been sent. I try to help those I meet recognize the all encompassing plan set in order by The Father with assistance from His Son. I strive to be a witness of God at all times. My greatest desire is to help others to be equipped with the means to come unto Christ and become perfected in Him. I am not perfect, but I know that He is and that I don't need to be perfect for Him to use me to be a blessing to His children.
