Hi I'm Kerry

I'm a Mormon. I am a graduate of BYU. I am married and have 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. I am a woodworker/cabinetmaker.

About Me

I served a mission in California, graduated from Brigham Young University, and taught woodwork for 27 years. I love family, mountains, wildlife, gardening, 4-wheeling and about anything to do with creative arts.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I want to be like him. Religion is important to me as a guiding light in this world of confusion and darkness. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ came from studying the Book of Mormon, applying it's principles, and heartfelt personal prayer. After many years, it is easy for me to see that happiness and peace come into my life when I live the teachings of Christ and the opposite happens when I detour from the path. Thank goodness for the principle of repentance that allows me to renew my efforts without dragging around the guilt and discouragement that naturally follow disobedience.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly where I can rub shoulders with others who feel like I do. It is a great help to see their examples of love and determination. I enjoy the opportunities that I have had to teach and to speak in meetings. I'm always thrilled when I find that my skills or knowledge can be used to bless the lives of others.
