Hi I'm Jacob

I'm from Arizona, I am an accounting major, I love music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying accounting at the local university. I work for a bank as a teller. Music was my passion as I played trumpet all the way through high school but now as I undergo another career I only play the guitar on the side to keep music in my life. I served a mission in the Mexico Torreon Mission from Oct. 2008 to Oct. 2010 and love speaking in Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church. My mom is a convert and my dad's family goes back for generations. Not only have I stayed a member of the church my whole life because of the experiences I've had in the church, but also because I have personally read the Book of Mormon, and prayed to God to know the truth. It is the word of God. And The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church restored to the earth once more by his son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently attend a singles ward designed for all young single adults from ages 18-30. I have many friends, my calling and responsibility is to be a teacher for the men in the ward and instruct them about the Gospel and how to live it's principles. I also participate in home teaching as I try to visit certain people assigned to me from the ward so I can visit their homes and be a support for them. There is lots of work to be done in the Lord's church, and I'm proud to be a small part of it.
