Hi I'm Joe

I like voice acting, animation, and video games and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I'm serving as a full time missionary in the California Carlsbad Mission. Before that, I was an internet voice actor for about a year; doing various projects around the internet that people needed voices for. I decided to do that to gain experience and meet people with similar interests. I've never voice acted professionally, but I do many voice impressions and like to perform them for others. I've coordinated with voice actors and artists of other mediums via Skype from the United States, Russia, Australia, and Canada. I enjoy playing video games, like Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Brothers, and many others. I enjoy reading books like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. I play the Piano and the Clarinet and I like to learn songs from video games, movies, TV shows, and whatever else is good. I enjoy movies like Starwars, Toy Story, Napoleon Dynamite, The Princess Bride, and Aladdin. I also like to watch shows like Dragon Ball Z, Spongebob, and MLP:FiM. Eeyup. I dare say being a Brony is a great combination with being a Mormon because the entertaining way that MLP presents values, which are very similar to our faith, makes it even more fun to do good to your fellow men and be a good friend. And all in all, that's really what Jesus Christ would have us do.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church all my life. I was born into it, but that's not to say that I've never had my doubts about the church. I never really had a strong testimony until I was 16 and I attended Camp Helaman. At that time and since, I've felt the spirit more strongly in my life and I have come to know that the church is true. Not with a perfect knowledge. No angel came down from heaven to tell me anything. I just feel the truth in my heart. Since I've entered the mission field, I've gained countless witnesses to miracles and tender mercies that all point to one thing: that we have a Heavenly Father and that he loves us more than we can ever know.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving as a full time missionary for the church. Before my mission, I would go Home Teaching, in which we go to the fellow members' homes and talk with them and ask them if there's anything that they need. I served in calling such as the Ward Chorister and Pianist for the Priesthood meetings in my ward.
