Hi I'm Hiedi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4, I am a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend. I enjoy the outdoors: hiking, swimming, running, and playing with my kids. I love pictures, online scrapbooking and watching movies with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my parents, so when I was a young adult I questioned if it was the only true church. I went with friends of different demonitations and attended their church. Every time I went with one of my friends I ended up leaving early because I was either offended by what was being taught or I just didn't feel the spirt there. I found that when I attended my ward I truly felt the spirt of Heavenly Father, I knew he was there telling me I was where I was suppose to be. I have prayed and recieved answer that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the church the true church and the church that I need to be attending. It is the true church of my Heavenly Father. I love know that anyone I talk to at church has the same values, beliefs and morals that I have and will be able to help me with any problem I may have.

How I live my faith

Being a Mother of 4 children I have many daily things that I do to live my faith. We read our scriptures together as a family every day. Every night before my children go to bed we say a family prayer together. As a family we participate in activites through church such as scouts, and many service projects like helping out at the local food bank. I teach a class of three year olds on Sundays. I sing church songs to my children and read books about the church to increase my knowledge of my beliefs and the beliefs of the church.I am able to go and visit other sisters in our ward to see how they are doing each month. If they need help it gives me an oportunity to do service. I am the PTA president of my childrens elementary school. Many may not think that this is living my faith, but in serving the comunity I am able to give of myself and help to become closer to my Heavenly Father.
