Hi I'm Michelle

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona. I am going to school to be an Ultra Sound Technician. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old. I have been married for a year to the most amazing husband a girl could ask for. We are both going to school and working, so we stay pretty busy. I am going to school to be an Ultra Sound Technician and I am in my last semester of prerequisites before applying to the program. I am also a cosmetologist and love to do my family and friends hair. I am just as happy as can be with my life and cannot wait for what each day brings me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be and because of the way it makes me feel. I was born and raised into this church and am so grateful for parents who raised me with such strong values. I always knew who I was and never forgot it. I am I daughter of God. When I was 9 years old, my dad was killed in a plane crash. It not only killed my father, but my grandfather and cousin as well. As hard as my father’s death has been, it has been easier for me to stay on the straight path because I knew that if I did, I would see my dad again someday. Going through my dad’s death has been the hardest and most difficult trial. But going through that trial has made me stronger. My family has been blessed and watched over so miraculously, that it has never made me question anything about the church. Heavenly Father is here to listen and answer our prayers. Jesus Christ died for each and every one of our sins so that we could repent and live with Him again someday. I am a Mormon because this is the only true church. I know it. And I feel it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a strong Latter-Day-Saint. I try my hardest to be a great example to those around me. I want to live my life in a way that those who know me, but don’t know Christ, will want to know Christ, because they know me. I know that is a saying already, but I really feel strongly about it. I attend church each week and fulfill my callings, which not only helps others, but also helps me and makes me stronger. I love attending the temple, the house of the Lord. There is no other place on earth that can make you forget about your troubles and hardships, and make you feel peaceful and calm, like the temple does. I love my faith. And I love that I can say I am a Mormon.
