Hi I'm Gordon

I grew up on a small farm. I loved farming. I am a retired USDA meat grader. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my retirement years I have enjoyed helping elderly people. I was awarded Citizen of the Year for Logan County Colorado in 2004. My wife and I were service missionaries on a walnut farm in Chico, California in 2009, and my childhood dream to work on a big farm was fulfilled. I loved serving the Lord as a service missionary there.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. From 1962-1964 I served a fulltime mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Great Britain. During that time I gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of the restoration of Christ's true church in these latter days. I know and have a testimony as was taught by Isaiah (Isaiah 45:23) and Paul (Romans 14:11) that the time will surely come that every knee shall bow and every tounge confess that Jesus is the Christ.

How I live my faith

My motto has always been: When you are in the service of your fellow men, you are only in the service of your Lord. (See Book of Mormon - Mosiah 2:17)
