Hi I'm Connie.

I grew up in Washington State. I love genealogy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am semi-retired, I say semi-retired because I have energy to keep going. I am 6 beautiful children and 14 great grandchildren, and I am single. I love doing my genealogy and try to move the work along by indexing on the internet. I was born in Idaho but my family moved to Washington State when I was 18 months old. I have been here all my life. I am from a long line of church membership pioneer stock coming from Wales and England to the Salt Lake Valley. I very thankful and have been greatly blessed!

Why I am a Mormon

I know my Heavenly Father loves me as He loves all His children. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of His gospel and would be totally lost in this life without that knowledge. I feel His closeness as I pray and attend to the things I have been given stewardship over in this life. I rejoice in the children He has allowed me to raise and the grandchildren I am blessed to enjoy and influence. I am so thankful for the law of repentance He has extended to me so I can always feel His love and concern for me. I know being a Mormon brings great love and joy, along with an abundance of sweet peace and a feeling of safety in my life. I just can't imagine ever having to live my life without this with me every day. I know I lived live before I came to this earth and know I will return to my Heavenly Father when my earthly mission has been completed and that I will be with my family members there forever. There is no greater blessing than this! My testimony and knowledge was instilled in my young mind from my faithful mother. My father did not believe there was a God until his mother died and she visited him on his sick bed. My parents were divorced when I was a young baby but I always knew my parents loved me and it was through this love and the great faith my mother had and taught me that I am the person I am today.

How I live my faith

I love genealogy work and research and along with that research I love indexing on the internet. I fee I can give back in that way. I am a primary teacher in my ward and love my little 5 year olds in my class. They really teach me more than I'm sure I am teaching them with their unconditional love and their willingness to give and help. I love serving in the church and I am so happy I am a Mormon.
