Hi I'm Chelsea

I love my husband and my baby. I'm a nursing student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I were married in January of 2009. The day before our two year anniversary we had our first baby boy! They are both my world! Next to being a wife, I love being a mom more than anything in the universe! I love to read and craft when I have time. I was in choir all through high school and enjoy singing. I love children and have been a nanny for four years. However, I just gave up being a nanny so that I could start Nursing School. I love babies, and plan to work as a labor and delivery or neonatal Nurse. I have such a strong support system from my husband and parents. Its been an adventure balancing school and family but we are making it work!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church for my whole life. As a child I just went to church because it was what we did. I made the choice to be baptized at the age of eight because I prayed and felt right about it. It wasn't until my Junior year when I fully developed my own testimony of the Gospel. I received my patriarchal blessing and had a choice to make. Either follow my Father in Heaven, or follow my friends. I made some changes and chose to follow my Father in Heaven. It was the best decision I have ever made. I had the privilege of being sealed to my eternal companion for time and all eternity in the Temple. I know without a doubt that this church is the fully restored Gospel, and Christ's true church on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and saw our Eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of Christ, and know that he came to this earth and suffered for our sins. I know the book of Mormon in addition to the Bible is the word of God. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and is helping me to succeed in all that I do. My testimony means so much to me. It keeps me anchored in this crazy world, and helps me to keep in mind the eternal perspective of things.

How I live my faith

I currently am called to work with the youth in my church. I have the opportunity to teach them lessons on Sunday's and have an activity once a week. I love the young women that I have the privilege to teach and feel so lucky to be able to interact with them. I also have the opportunity to visit monthly with two sisters in the ward. We take a monthly lesson and check in on one another. It provides a great sense of support and love for each other. I previously had a calling to organize meals for women who had babies. I enjoyed being in that calling because it gave me the opportunity to serve the women in the ward, and also witness others willingness to serve. I feel the best way to live my faith is by being an example to others. I hope by doing this, I will somehow touch and inspire the people I come in contact with.
