Hi I'm Christina

I believe there is no such thing as too many plants. I'm a horticulturalist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud owner of two extremely lazy tabby cats. I am an avid book worm and enjoy reading the classics. I think that there's a possibility I may be part mermaid because of my constant desire to always be in water, which is a tricky place to want to be when you live in the middle of farm land in Idaho! When I am not working I prefer to be traveling. I have seen many countries and have been able to help in a few of them with my plant knowledge. I have many hobbies because I find almost everything interesting and I give myself credit for being brave enough to attempt almost anything at least once. I love life. I love the things that life has to offer. I love living in such a beautiful and interesting world. I love my Savior!

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the opportunity to visit other countries and get to know a lot of different people as well as their different religions. I have always been fascinated by others faith. I have gained a lot of respect for the teachings and the people in other religions but I have found that the very best fit for me is being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love the fullness that it brings to my life and the completeness I feel when I am trying my very best to be a good person. The very end of the 13th Article of Faith states "if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report, or praiseworthy, we seek after these things". I am so grateful to belong to a church that encourages the seeking of such wonderful things! I am up for the challenge and I know that my Heavenly Father is always there to help me if I ever need Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith mainly by trying to be a good person. I have had the opportunity to work in many different calling in a few different wards. I am currently serving with the youth in my ward and I admire them tremendously! Being in my late 30's and never having to grow up facing the same challenges that they face, I admire their strength and their commitment to the gospel. Life is tough for many of them but they are headed in the right direction. I am grateful to be able to serve them. I have loved serving in other various callings as well. I love getting to know new people and understanding where they come from. I have found that the best way to do that is through service. Everyone has needs. Often times, I have learned that just knowing there is someone out there that cares about you can brighten and lift even the loneliest heart. I try daily to be mindful of others and spread the light of my Savior though good works and action. I'm trying to be like Jesus and love how He loved.
