Hi I'm Heather

I'm a Juice Plus rep, a wife and mother of 2 boys - one who is a Type 1 Diabetic. I love trees and movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of 2 boys, the oldest is type 1 Diabetic, my youngest has learning disabilities. Being a mom of 2 special needs children can be rough! But we have more good days than we do bad, and I count my blessings. Our family loves to go to the mountains, ride bikes, have family movie nights, entertain friends and family, and do fun things together. I put a garden in my boys' elementary school a couple years ago, and love watching children explore new things, grow new veggies, and actually eat them! When kids are part of the process, they take ownership of what they have created, and are more likely to continue taking part in the program. I am a Juice Plus rep. I LOVE working a flexible schedule, that I set, so I don't miss any of my boys important and fun events. I am able to decorate our home and do fun things with my paychecks, and took the family to Disneyland this past Spring. What a blast! I love making a difference in children's lives all around the world, and helping kids eat better, get healthier, and fight off a lot more illnesses coming their way. I love Juice Plus, I love my family, and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Gospel. I feel blessed to have had the church throughout my life. I think it has made me a stronger mother, better member of the community, and a good wife. I choose to me a Mormon because I believe the doctrine in the scriptures. I believe Christ, and I believe in Christ. There is no other way for me to return to live with him again, with my family at my side, for Eternity, than by living the Gospel to the best of my ability. I love that no matter where we move, I do not have to go find another church. The church is the same wherever you go - just different people. I like the duties we have as church members. Everyone takes turns servings (volunteering) in different areas. This is what makes our church run smoothly and keeps it fun and growing. I like being part of something that is bigger than me. Bigger than all of us.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example to my children, neighbors. friends and co-workers. Christ is our ultimate example, always helping the poor, sick, needy, lonely, and forgotten. I try to do my best to implement as much service into my family as possible. Whether it's taking a meal to someone who had a baby, or who has had surgery. It could be doing Secret Santa for a family struggling. It may be little things, and not always at Christmas - ALL year long! We are not wealthy, but if we have enough, then we can share.
