Hi I'm Wesley

I grew up all over the East Coast. I am into Bushcraft, reading and Studying the gospel. Im an Entreprenuer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old and I love the gospel! I can't wait to start a family of my own!!! I am currently serving a mission in Idaho and loving it. I hope that when I am finished here I can return and keep going on the work. Studying the life of the savior and all of the teachings of the prophets and apostles is a full time occupation, and a very worthwile one. I will continue to strive to be like christ. I would say that I am a normal every day guy but I am not, "normal" does not exist. Everyone is unique, but not everyone embraces their uniqueness. to be your best you must first know who you are, I strive every day to find who I am and to embrace it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church, but I was never truly converted until I was 19 years old. I had some trying times, I fell away from the church for a while, my family had moved away, but I had chosen to stay. I had made some poor decisions leading up to this point. I was all alone for about 9 1/2 months when I realized how truly alone I was. I turned back to god and shortly there after I moved to live with my family. I knew at that point that I needed to serve a mission, so I began to prepare to serve a mission. It took a year and a half of preparation to be worthy and ready to do so, but it was well worth it. During this year and a half of preparation I discovered many things about myself. I know that my Heavenly father lives-and he sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to be our savior. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of god and it is true. I gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon by reading and praying about it, and I know that if you want to know if it is true you can learn it by praying about it.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings in the church. After I graduated from young mens (when I turned 18) I was called to be a primary teacher. I taught several children ages ranging from 5-8. After that I was called as an assistant scout master and I helped teach the scouts on wednesday nights. After I moved to Asheboro I served as the Gospel essentials teacher. This was the class where anyone who wants to learn about the church goes to learn more about it.I also served at the same time as an assistant to the scout master (who happens to be my father!). I love being a teacher, it is very rewarding to see those who I teach learn and grow.
