Hi I'm Tucker

I grow up on a ranch in Idaho. I am in school studying to be an architect. I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grow up out side of a small community in Wyoming. My parents owned a outfitting business. They took people on guided elk and deer hunts. I grow up loving the outdoors and spending a lot of time on my bike, on a horse, or swimming in a creek. My family is very important to me. I have a older brother and a younger sister. My parents have been married for 29 years and both of my grandparents have celebrated their 50th anniversiry in the past two years. We spent a lot of time together camping. I enjoy shooting my rifle, bow and doing physical activities like hiking, rock climbing, softball, mountain biking, riding snowmoblies, and camping. I had the great opportuinty to serve as a missionary. I went to Johannesburg, South Africa. I spent two years there and was unpaided for my service. I paid most of the cost myself and I did get help from my parents and church members back home. I returned and am married to my beautiful wife. We have been married three years. I am studying to be an architect. I have always enjoyed building things. Most of my jobs have been construction related. I have done many remodels on homes. Building and creating is something I really enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I've had many problems in my live and I truly feel the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me get through those times. The mission I servied helped me understand what is important. I was happy when I left my mission to go home and see my family but I was also sad that this time in my life was over. The atonement of Jesus Christ is the one thing I am trying to hold on to. Through his suffering He has forgiven me and you and even if I stumble and struggle every day He is their to help if I just knee and pray and ask for help. The Book of Mormon sheds light on gospel ideas that will change peoples lives. My wife is a stranght to me. When I get down and don't know if I can go one she helps and encourages me. I am also grateful for a living prophet. President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet and the mouthpiece of God on earth. He teaches the world the things we need to do in this life to return and to live with God again. The most important thing is to pray and want to know it is true. I do know and I am trying my hardest to be the example God would want me to be.

How I live my faith

As of now I have no calling or duty in the church. I am a hometeacher. I go to other members home and see if they need any help spiritual or physical. I share an uplifting message of hope and joy. I have, in the past, taught the youth and adults in church meetings.
