Hi I'm Mark

I enjoy hunting and shooting in the Arizona outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Last week I celebrated 33 years of marriage with my lovely wife. We have 3 adult sons and two of them are married, but we are still patiently waiting for Grandchildren. Life has been good to me but with the recent down turn of the economy I found myself without a job after 22 years with the same company. I have returned to school to complete that four year degree, that had previously been delayed for various reasons. It has been a struggle while being unemployed, working part-time or temporary jobs for the last couple of years. I look at the bright side and have hope that things will get better. I have cutback my outdoor activities but still get out when I can. I really enjoy spending time shooting with my sons, even if it is just a few hours with them at the range.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. I was born in South Eastern Arizona, one of five boys, in a Mormon family. I was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ as a youth, but I was an adult before I gained my own testimony of its truth. Faith in Jesus Christ gives me a perfect brightness of hope, that I will be able to provide for my family, and that through his atonement I will be able to return to my Heavenly Father with my family.

How I live my faith

I volunteer on a regular basis to help a disabled friend get to his doctor appointments and to the store.I have worked with the Boy Scouts program in our Ward. It was fun being outdoors with my sons and their friends. I currently teach new members of the church and those who want to know more about it.
