Hi I'm Grant

I'm the second oldest of Five Brothers. I'm a Momma's boy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I consider myself to be a pretty ordinary 20 year old kid. I'm not really anything out of the ordinary. Growing up with four brothers, you have to learn quickly. Shame on you if you were the last one to learn how to tie their shoes, or whistle, or blow a bubble. The competition is intense. I don't feel like that competition made us grow apart from eachother. I think it united us. We mostly have the same interests, because when one brother would pick up a sport, or hobby, the other brothers would follow. For example, my older brother picked up tennis. The rest of the family followed suit, and now we all can have a friendly, but of course competitive, doubles match together. One of my favorite TV shows is, "Band of Brothers." My father picked up on the title, me and my brothers the, "Band of Brothers." I think if you could sum up the relationship that my brothers and I have in one phase, it would be that. We truly care for one another. The oldest brother blazes the trail for the rest of us, and each time one of us has a trial, we all help that brother, and grow together from that. We all defend eachother. Each brother is watching the back of another. We're brothers. What do you expect?

Why I am a Mormon

I can't think of anything that would make me happier then to be with my brothers and parents forever. They are amazing. I have a firm belief that God knows each and every one of us, and wants us to be happy. If that is true, then He knows that the way to make me the happiest is to provide a way for me to be with them forever. I can't imagine life, or life after death without my family. To me it would seem empty. Heavenly Father has given us our families to help raise us to believe in him, be responsible adults, and have our own successful family one day. He knows us. He loves us. And He knows what we love, and hold the most dear. For me that is my family. I have chosen to be a member of this church for that precise reason. The gospel has been restored to the Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. Gospel means, "good news." What better news is there that we can be with our families forever?

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ asked Peter the Apostle if he loved him. Peter of course answered, "yes." Jesus Christ responded to him, "feed my sheep." How we show our love for our Savior is by sharing what we have. I have chosen to do this. I share the gospel with others that I come in contact with so that they can have the same peace and hope that I have. When you have the gospel in your life, you can't keep it to yourself. It isn't possible. You want everyone to know what you know, and have the happiness that you have everyday in your life. I want everyone I meet to know that I know we have a Prophet today on the Earth. God has not stopped speaking to us. I find great peace in that. Also, I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and can help you gain a testimony of other gospel truths. Finally, I know that we can be together with our families forever. I always knew that nothing could separate my family. Not even death.
