Hi I'm Patricia

I am wife, mother, runner, bookworm, homesteading farmer and Mormon.

About Me

I keep busy as a mom of four active boys and one baby girl. My husband and I love to play tennis together, hike mountains, and play soccer with our boys in the backyard. I grew up in suburbia, but am now enjoying learning the ropes of country life on a small farm. I enjoy running and training for triathlons. I love to study places and cultures and then travel to experience them first hand. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with a book.

Why I am a Mormon

As I strive to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and follow the teachings of his prophets I feel joy. This joy has brought me a happiness that I have not found elsewhere. The knowledge of temples and family relations being eternal brings me peace. Knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father to whom I can pray has been a blessing throughout my life. As I pray for direction I have received a knowledge that the Church of Jesus Christ is on the earth and that he has prophets and apostles to help all on the earth, as we are all children of God. I have felt the love and grace of our Savior Jesus Christ and desire others to feel so as well.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by helping others. Presently, in my congregation, I teach the children about Jesus Christ and his gospel. I also participate with other women in service projects, hiking groups, and sports groups. I feel that the association I have with others doing every day activities has given me opportunities to help those in need and be served as well. I try to live my faith by being kind, smiling, and helping others to feel loved.
