Hi I'm Eric

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Father of 4 children. I have been married for 18 years to my sweetheart. I am an early morning seminary teacher. I enjoy sitting around our backyard koi pond with my family. I like to ride street motorcycles with my wife and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family that was blessed with the restored gospel. My parents and 8 siblings all attended church every Sunday and had Family Home Evening every Monday night. I personally had read and studied the gospel and have prayed many time for understanding and confirmation that the principles and standard I was trying to live up to were true. I know from the feelings that I have received from the Holy Ghost that the gospel is true and that our Heavenly Father cares and loves each one of us. By experiences I have learned that by following the principles I know to be true has brought me happiness and confidence in who I am and what my purpose is life is. There is nothing quite like being a Mormon and living life the best you can with family and friend who love you.

How I live my faith

The church gives many opportunities to serve and stay active in living and sharing the gospel. I am able to live my faith through the choices I make each day. Although I am far from perfect, I still strive to be the best person I can be and treat other respectfully. I have been teaching early morning seminary for the past two years and have just recently started my third year teaching. What a great opportunity to share with the youth some of the thing that I have learned through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Early morning seminary is a unique chance for teenagers to start each school day with gospel principles running through their thoughts. It give the youth a change to feel the spirit early in the morning and helps them to realize how different high school is from many of the standards of the Church. Another gospel principle that help my family and I stay strengthen is daily scripture reading and daily prayer. It is a great comfort to know that my Heavenly Father listens and answers my prayers and that he wants the best for me and my family. I know that when I follow the commandments that Heavenly Father has given me, I enjoy great blessings. It doesn't mean life and situations are easier but it does mean that I have a loving heavenly Father that will guide me through rough times and lift me when I need him.
