Hi I'm Erik Dante Paternoster

I'm a husband, father, son, brother, and friend. I love my family & friends! I also love sports. Go BSU Broncos! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am truly blessed to be married to an amazingly talented and beautiful woman. Together we share the blessing and responsibility of being parents to three beautiful children. I love my wife, my kids, our parents, our siblings, our friends, and our extended families. I am truly a fanatic of college football (Boise State) and major league baseball (New York Yankees). I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like to make other people laugh, and especially love to see my family's happiness. I love my family!! I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was well established in the gospel and had been sealed in the temple. I grew up learning the truths of this gospel. I prayed for confirmation of these truths and the spirit of the Lord provided me with that confirmation. I love the amazing blessing the spirit is in my life and the precious moments when it is felt the strongest. I served a mission and shared these truths with the people of Uruguay. I'm a Mormon because I know my Savior sacrificed himself for me. I know that he lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet destined to restore His gospel, and I know that Thomas S Monson is a prophet today. I know that if I follow His gospel that I can return to live with My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, together with my family.

How I live my faith

A great part of my activity in the church is the friendships that we share with fellow members. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is very much family oriented. We believe in this sacred relationship, and just as important, we believe that we are all eternal brothers and sisters, sons and daughters of our heavenly father. Throughout my life I have always felt the love of the fellow members in the various wards in which I have lived. I feel a deep love for my fellow members, brothers and sisters in the gospel, and a responsibility to help them where possible. I am also confident and know that they feel the same and would reciprocate their love and charity should the need arise. This is truly the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I participate in callings and assume the responsibilities to help others I have felt my capacity for love and ability increased through the power of the priesthood. It is very rewarding spiritually to serve my fellow brothers and sisters as well as to see others progress in the gospel. Just as strong is the love I feel for all of our spiritual brothers and sisters that are not members of this church. Christ's love is limitless and extends to everyone, and so should ours. I am amazed at the love the spirit instills in me for others and find it equally rewarding to not only be civil, but friendly and giving to others. I recognize that I am not perfect, and have much to work on, but also am uplifted by the sacrifice of our Savior and the opportunity he has given me to repent and strive to be a better and more loving person.
