Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mother of 3 soon to be 4. I play the piano and love to sing.

About Me

I've moved around a lot, when people ask me where I'm from I usually answer everywhere. I've graduated from College with a degree in Music Performance. I enjoy teaching music lessons, leading choirs, and singing at home. I have been happily married for 8 years and look forward to many more years to come. I love my family and spend most of my time with them. I enjoy being a mother it's definitely worth all the sacrifices that come from caring for a husband and children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon. My mother was a convert and has always been my inspiration. When I turned 8 and it was time for me to be baptized she asked me if I would be committed to live the gospel and if I knew that it was true. I told her that I did know the church was true and that I would live the gospel the best I could. I've held true to that promise to my mom and to God. Being a singer I have had many opportunities to visit other churches and sing with choirs, for funerals, and weddings; I've also had many non-Mormon friends invite me to their church services. As I've watched and listened I've learned that other churches don't have anything to offer me, what they teach I already know and that I would need to give up so much of what I know to cherish to join a different church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church that answers all my questions, that gives me purpose in life, that seals my family together for eternity, and has the Priesthood of God.

How I live my faith

My first priority is to my family. I spend most everyday with my sweet children. We play, learn to read, memorize scriptures, sing songs, and clean up messes. I have two children in school and so I volunteer monthly at the school, visiting their classes, and help them with their homework. I try to get to know my neighbors, I'm a little shy so this is hard but I do the best I can. I have responsibilities at church, I play the piano for Primary, I love to hear the little children sing. I am also helping with a Youth conference to help the Youth in our church learn leadership skills and to socialize with others their age. I enjoy visiting other members in my church and feel blessed to have so many friends that share my same beliefs.
