Hi I'm Tiegan

I grew up in the state of Washington, I'm a massage therapist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lead a very simple and probably crazy life to some. I'm a massage therapist full time, but in the hours I don't work I'm a scifi geek who loves to cross stitch, crochet, write stories about my favorite books and tv shows, and watch as many movies as I possibly can. I love to spend time with my family, even if we do get on eachother's nerves sometimes. I can be quirky and emotional, but most of all I love to spend time with the people I care about, taking care of others through my talents, and I love having the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and though I have had many hardships in my life, loosing a parent through divorce, relatives dying, and many un-planned moves I have always been grateful for the love and kindness I have felt from our Fahter in Heaven. He has helped me to understand that everything that happens, happens for a reason. It may be because someone made a bad choice, it may be that it was simply time for someone to die, or it may be that there is something that we should learn that will help us grow into the people we were meant to be. I have learned how to forgive others and myself through the power of His love and atonement. I know in my heart, even in the depths of my soul that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints holds the true and complete gospel. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who recieved divine revelation. I know that Jesus Christ lives, that he loves us, and will do everything he can to help us through this life. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who sent is most beloved son here to earth, to save us all though love and sacrifice. I know the Holy Ghost is real, that he helps us, and if we will just listen that he will witness the truth to our souls. I love my Father in Heaven, and His son Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the knowlege he has given me of my divine birth and potential, and I am grateful that he sent me here to earth to learn more fully of Him. I know these things to be true.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of my faith every day, by living the standards taught by the church. I attend all three hours of services on Sundays (I know it seems like a lot, but it's wonderful). I have two positions in the church I am the secretary for our women's organization, the Relief Society, and once a month a teach a class for the third hour. I visit, along with a partner, three women in our congregation, we spend time talking about our lives, share a spiritual message, and try to help eachother as much as we are able. I volunteer as often as possible, and try to answer fully and truthfully any quetion asked me. I love my chruch and I wouldn't be the same person without it.
