Hi I'm Peter

I'm a father of five, grandfather of five, a return missionary and a former banker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Finding "joy in the journey" has been my lifelong goal. I was born in Los Angeles, raised in Chicago and attended school in Provo UT, New York, and London. My career as a banker took me to every state in the US and several countries. As often as possible I took family members along to experience new places and meet new people, but most importantly to spend time together. Following my banking career I was called to serve a mission with my wife and loved every day of serving the Lord in Las Vegas. My wife and five kids along with our five grandchildren are my greatest source of happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I know when something is right! I feel a spiritual warmth or peace within me. It isn't something I have created in my mind it is an undeniable feeling of goodness that comes through the Holy Ghost. My membership in the church brings that reaffirming feeling of goodness over and over. For me, being a Mormon isn't a church affiliation, it is membership in the Kingdom of God. Being a Mormon allows me to be with people who, like me, are trying to qualify to return to live with Heavenly Father. I've put the principles of the gospel to the test and know they are true. I see what the gospel has done for my family and others. I love how I feel when I am living the gospel.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is exciting. I do my best to fulfill my role as a husband and father and be involved in the community while still serving in the church. My current responsibility in the church is to work with high school age young men and young women who attend an early-morning gospel class before school. In addition I have three families who I visit regularly to insure that they are doing well. My faith in Jesus Christ is what gives me a desire to help others in the community and in the church.
