Hi I'm Mary

I am a wife, a mother of 7 wonderful children, and grandmother of 18 beautiful grand children. I am an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have an Elementary Teaching Degree with an Art Minor from Brigham Young University. I have lived many different places where my husband was assigned in the United States Air Force for almost 30 years. My greatest blessing and privilege has been to stay home and nurture our seven children. I have true joy in my posterity as I visit the homes of our grown children with their own children. I love to do art work that can strengthen families. I have done a picture book on happiness in families, paintings, bronze sculptures, and portrait art dolls. I have also used my art to illustrate children's songs in teaching. I make cards for special occasions.I I

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My ancestors came from Europe because of their conversion. I have learned for myself that this is the true an living church of Jesus Christ by living the principles and teaching and keeping the covenants that I have made. As we moved many times, I always found great comfort for myself and our family in that "the Church is true everywhere". It is the same organization and lead by a living prophet of God. My greatest desire is to live my life in such a way that I will someday return to live with my Heavenly Father and live with my family eternally. I know that I can be happy in this life, with all of its opportunities for growth, as I follow the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I teach a Sunday School class to investigators of the church. I also am a visiting teacher and have the privilege of sharing a spiritual message with three sisters each month. I also work in the San Antonio Temple each week with my husband. I gain strength and peace by attending church each week with my "ward family" and partaking of the Sacrament. I am strengthen by meeting with the women to remember our great purpose in Heavenly Father's plan for us. I
