Hi I'm Ande (Andrea) Badger

I am a wife and mother of 4 beautiful kids. I go to college and teach preschool. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for over 11 years. My husband is a sweet, caring, hard working man. I have 4 amazing and beautiful children. I feel like I never have time to sit down because there is always something to do, but I love those quiet moments when I actually do sit to pray and read my scriptures. I always feel the Lord's spirit when I do find those moments and that refreshes me. I love to spend time with my husband and kids, exercize, play sports, sing, and dance. My favorite place in the whole world is Utah. I have so much family that lives there and they are some of my favorite people. I enjoy reading (when there is time) and watching my children participate in sporting events. I am going to school to be an elementary school teacher. One thing that I hope to do in my life is serve a mission with my husband. I would also love to travel to Europe. I wish that I had the ability to make everyone who was having a crummy day feel better. I hate to see people sad or suffering. If I could help make their life easier, I would. I am grateful to be a member of this church.

Why I am a Mormon

This world is so confusing. Life is very difficult and there is a lot of sadness. The only way I have ever found peace is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. When a child dies or when someone loses a job and the ability to support his family, when wars destroy lives, we can turn to the church for comfort and direction! The gospel is the same EVERYWHERE, that is amazing! The exact same message of peace and love and comfort is available for anybody and everybody no matter where they live. The priesthood keys and the blessings that go with them are for the world! I was reading in my scriptures tonight the story of the First Vision, a story that I have read hundreds of times, and the spirit again testified to me just as strongly as it had the very first time that what I was reading is truth! I feel comfort in knowing that. That no matter what else happends in this life, even if my entire world falls apart, I am where I am suppossed to be. My Savior has a plan for me. He atoned for my imperfections and died for me. He was resurrected. I love that we have a living prophet on the earth today who holds the same priesthood keys that Christ himself held. President Thomas S. Monson is that man. He gets revelation for us today directly from God just as the prophets of old did. So long as we follow him, we will be lead in the right paths. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon. I know that it is true! I find strength in its pages. Joseph Smith was a true prophet. He went through so much to bring about this great and marvelous work! This is a work that will stand forever. I LOVE BEING A MORMON!

How I live my faith

I attend my ward meetings every Sunday. I love to go to sacrament meeting and partake of the sacrament. I feel like I am able to better remember my Savior. I love to sing the hymns and primary songs! Every night I sing a hymn, primanry song, or other church song my children before they go to bed. I am a bear scout den leader. I enjoy helping each of these amazing boys on their way to earning their bear scout and establish a love for scouting. I am a visiting teacher and I love to visit with the sisters and share in their joys and sorrows. I enjoy our family scripture reading time and prayers each day and I look forward to our Family Home Evenings each week. I try to accept all calls that are given to me because I feel that the Lord has blessed me with so much in my life that I should never turn down a calling that has come from Him. I try to be a good example to my neighbors, friends, and those around me so that if some one does not yet know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, theymight come to know Him through my example.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Ande (Andrea) Badger
Faith in Jesus Christ has the power to influence us in all of our relationships. If we have faith in Him we will try to be more like Him. When we are more like Him, we are more loving, more patient, kinder, more forgiving. When porblems in our families, marriages, and friendships occur, we will have an increased capacity to work through them knowing that He would do the same. Show more Show less
