Hi I'm Robert

I'm an engineer, I'm quiet, I have an odd sense of humor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the Pacific Northwest and am just an ordinary guy who happens to be blessed with an amazing wife and 4 incredible kids. I'm a structural engineer to pay the bills, but my real joy comes from spending time with my family. I enjoy the outdoors, sports, biking, running, fly fishing and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in another faith and have always taught that God loves us and wants us to be happy. But then what? Why are we here? The LDS missionaries taught me that there was a plan or purpose to our life on earth. I also learned that families are central to God’s plan. As I learned and prayed about these concepts, I felt confirmation in my heart that they were true. The Gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives for the better, and as we strive to follow Christ’s teachings and His example, we not only grow closer to our Heavenly Father, but we become better parents, better spouses, and better individuals…. That’s why I’m a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I strive each day to live a Christ-like life through my words and actions. Some days I do better than others .... My family also looks for opportunities to serve others in our community. We attend church each week and strive to read scriptures and pray together regularly as a family.
