Hi I'm Tracey

I'm a 20-something year old girl trying to find my place in the world. I write, I hike, I rock out at concerts and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young single adult with wanderlust but also a desire to lay down some roots. How's that for contradiction? Right now I see eighty-seven different paths I can take and road blocks with every one of them...I tell myself that's just part of the adventure though. Truth be told, I'm just trying to find my place in the world. What I do know is that I love hiking and listening to live music, that Mother Nature can cure just about anything and that some of us were simply born to think way too much about way too much.

Why I am a Mormon

At 16 I found myself needing some answers. I got them and could never deny the feeling of absolute truth associated with them. That's why I keep trying to live the Gospel. Being Mormon is far from easy, but the knowledge, peace and sense of purpose that I now have cannot be put into words. There is great power in knowing that you're a child of God and that He knows you individually and loves you...that He knows me completely and loves me still. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? I keep trying. Everyday I wake up and try to be a little better. Many days I fall short, but I've learned to stop giving up. Only me and Heavenly Father know what my personal best is, and I can keep striving for that everyday. When I let Him, He always helps me. I would say that the biggest difference in my life has come from the two basic things we're encouraged to do daily: sincere prayer and scripture study. If I can get those two things right, I know I can make it through one more day.
