Hi I'm Staci

I love learning. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I have 1 brother and 3 sisters. Being the middle child is awesome. My family brings so much joy and happiness to my life. I love watching movies, playing in the rain, good conversations, and eating good food. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Although I may not know what I want to major in or what trials or blessings I will have in the future, I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

It seems like there's a point in everyone's life where you have to figure out what you believe. I have been going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life. There was a point when I needed to discover for myself if the gospel is true. I started by praying to my Heavenly Father. I studied the Book of Mormon, pondered and continued to pray. One night as I knelt down to pray after reading the Book of Mormon, I felt the spirit so strong. In that moment, I knew this gospel is true. My faith is not all from that one moment. It has grown a little at a time. My faith has grown as I have seen the ways God has guided my life, as I have received answers to my prayers, and as I have felt like I am in the right place at the right time doing what He would have me do. Since then, my life has been filled with so many of those moments where the spirit testifies to me the truthfulness of the gospel. I am constantly pondering the scriptures and praying to maintain and grow my testimony. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought so much joy and peace in my life and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

Each day I strive to be more like Christ. I try to show kindness and love toward others and treat them as He would. As I love unconditionally, I feel His spirit and I hope that others can feel it too. I have so many opportunities to serve and bless the lives of others. I attend church services on Sunday and activities throughout the week. I try to be worthy of having His spirit with me at all times. So I avoid anything that would keep me from having that blessing in my life. I try to read from the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father each day.
