Hi I'm Denae

I'm a wife and a mother, a sports lover, a Texan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life; I love being a wife and a mother! I'm grateful for the privilege to stay at home with my children. I am a cook, cleaner, organizer, and a teacher! I enjoy serving others and seeing their lives made easier because of me. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy the busyness of life, but look forward even more to the quiet moments. I love seeing the new growth of spring and the peace and quite of the hill country. I enjoy talking and interacting with others. I feel everyone has something to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful to my parents for their example and the blessing of being born into the Mormon Church. From a young age I was taught important principles and qualities that I believe make a good person. I learned to be honest, friendly, charitable, humble, grateful, and most importantly I developed a deep love for Jesus Christ, who sets the perfect example for all of us. I have faith and know that my prayers are answered and my life is watched over by a loving Heavenly Father. I am far from perfect but I know that there is a Savior who willingly paid for my sins and mistakes and wants me to succeed. For this reason I strive to live a righteous selfless life and be an example to my children so they too will have a desire to be like Jesus.

How I live my faith

I strive each day to become a better person, to be more like Jesus Christ. I pray and have faith that my life will be guided to help my children, my husband, and all those around me. I read the scriptures to learn from the stories and principles taught by the followers of Jesus Christ and especially those taught by Jesus himself. I have the privilege to work with the youth of the church, specifically the girls. We strive to teach them of their divine nature and individual worth, and help them develop the self-confidence and assurance that they are loved as daughters of God.
