Hi I'm Reggie.

So, I'm a spaz, a Biomed Major, a lucky husband to a gorgeous wife, a new father, a huge nerd, an avid reader, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Alright, so I can talk a lot. For the mean time I am studying to become a Physician's Assistant in Behavioral Health, but eventually I want to enter Psychiatry and help promote homeopathic psycho-pharmacology. I really want to be healthy but I love ice cream and peanut butter m&m's waaaaay too much to actually consider myself healthy at all. Family? I am the youngest of six kids, and I have a beautiful wife and daughter who make everything (including the sleepless nights) just that much better. To me, my friends are my family, because I have the greatest friends who have always been there for me. Hobbies? I love reading (especially with my wife) and listening to music. I also love swimming and running and generally being a smart Alec. I'm really rather sarcastic (sorry), but I am doing my best to work of that. I also talk really, really fast. I love to help and meet people. Can't dance, can't beatbox, and my singing is only good in the shower. But besides all of that I am the one to go to if you ever need useless facts about anything!

Why I am a Mormon

For starters my parents were Mormon and so that got me off to a great start. After their divorce, though, when I was eight, my family stopped going as a whole and it wasn't until I was thirteen that I started to miss church. I went to and enjoyed various churches, but it was only at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that I felt fulfilled. Probably because it was hard and it demanded a lot from me personally. It asked me to change and be better, to give of my time and talents, and to do everything within my power to help others. Now don't get me wrong, as a teenager, I hated church (despite ironically going of my own accord), and I only believed the Bible and searched desperately (because I was rebelling or something) to prove the Book of Mormon just wasn't compatible with Christianity. I read and reread and rereread the Book of Mormon and the Bible several times before I came to convince myself that the Bible only made complete sense to me when I read it alongside the Book of Mormon. The gospel doesn't just answer my questions, it makes sense of the answers. I am a Biomedical Science Major and am a huge science nerd, and everything that I have learned in school, through college, at university not only fit in with my knowledge of God's plan, but complimented it and enriched it. The gospel makes sense, it makes logical sense and I believe that God should make sense. Of course we can't understand everything He does, just like science can't explain everything at this time, but it links all of the stuff that I do know, and it makes that make sense to me.

How I live my faith

Day by day, to the best of my ability, but some days that really isn't all that good. More straight forward? My wife and I pray together and read scriptures together every day that we can. We try to be kind and forgiving to others and do our best to help anyone and everyone we can...even when it is annoying. I like to laugh a lot and try to be happy because I believe that God wants us to be happy and that happiness is kind of inevitable when we follow His gospel.
