Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon. I am in college studying geology and I have 3 daughters.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 daughters and a student of geology. I enjoy collecting rocks, running and training with a mixed martial arts black belt.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In 1996 my family which consisted of two daughters ages 10 and 8, my husband and myself began taking the lessons from the missionaries after a series of struggles left us asking if we were heading down the right path...was there more? Did God have something different planned for us. A year and a half after we became members, we were blessed with a third daughter who was just baptized a couple of months ago.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service to others in my community. I am a visiting teacher to 3 sisters in my ward and I am an assistant cub scout leader. My youngest daughter and I also volunteer in the bishops storehouse, which provides food to members of our community who are in need. It is a wonderful experience to be in service to others. It gives me such perspective on my own life and all that I am grateful for. My family and I have truly been blessed!
