Hi I'm Carli

I'm a volleyball enthusiast. I'm an experimental cook. I'm an interior designor of my own home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and stay at home mom. I recieved my college degree in Early Childhood/Special Education and that has made a great difference in my mothering. Things I enjoy include: Reading novel's, repurposing furniture, going to sporting events, and being in nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to members of the church and I have chosen to remain an active member because of the joy it continues to bring me. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has magnified the good and important times in my life. It has also brought me peace and allowed for the hard times in my life to make me stronger. I know that I am daughter of God, our Heavenly Father. He loves me and each of His children so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins, experience our heartaches, and die for us. As a member of this church I have gained and continue to gain a personal relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ. I believe this relationship has come because of daily prayer and spending time reading the scriptures (The Bible and Book of Mormon) . Also, Our living Prophet has always helped me to know what direction I should be taking in order to be close to Jesus Chirst. The Prophet and Apostles are such a wonderful gift to each of us because they give us specific instruction from the Lord for our present day in age.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by treating people as children of God. It is so nice to be able to put aside judgments and offer love and friendship in its place. To me it is the simple acts that we do that make a difference. Choosing to sit by a woman sitting alone at church or visiting your next door neighbhor with soem cookies-- everyone loves cookies, right?! I also help when I can in my congregation. I have especially loved teaching and have been able to teach all ages.
