Hi I'm Chloe Warren

I'm a Daughter. I'm a Student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just completed my first semester of my freshman year at Brigham Young University and am anxiously waiting to enter the Missionary Training Center and become a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Dallas, Texas. I belong to a family of six with three siblings, an older and younger sister and a younger brother. I love to watch movies, make desserts, and being silly with my friends! I believe that there is always a reason to smile and even in the darkest of days, Heavenly Father is watching over us.

Why I am a Mormon

You know, I've gotten asked this question so many times in high school and you'd think that by now I'd have more of a concrete answer, but I don't! It's a lot of little answers that when combined form a huge one! If I had to describe the Church in one word, I would say HOPEFUL because even in the darkest of times, when we face the hardest trials, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are looking out for us and offer this glimmer of hope if we but pray to them with a sincere heart. I've experienced this first hand when I pray for strength to endure a trial, I can feel my Heavenly Father's arms wrap around me and squeeze me, telling me that all will be well in time. I took a Book of Mormon class at Brigham Young University this fall and my favorite part of the course was having to establish a personal habit of daily study from the Book of Mormon. As I started out, it was hard to notice a change in my attitude throughout the day-I had heard of countless stories of people who have happier days when they read and things like that-but I decided to stick it out anyway. Through that semester I have gained a deeper appreciation for the words written by the prophets of old for they truly apply to our day and age. I know the Book of Mormon to be true. I feel it deep in my heart! If you desire to know if this church is true, I encourage you to READ and PRAY to know if it's right and I know Heavenly Father will answer you, because He did for me!

How I live my faith

On my road to understanding who Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are, I've been able to teach those around me the things that I know to be true and help them find their own testimony (a strong belief or conviction of something) of the Church. As I can help those around me, I know that it is a far better use of my time than being idle because if I can bless the lives of others, I can be the beginning of a never-ending chain reaction that is all about serving one another as children of the Most High God. More specifically, right now I am preparing to serve a mission for the Church and have been called to serve in Dallas, Texas for a year and a half. Leaving my family and friends behind is going to be very challenging for me, but I know that my sacrifice will bless the lives of others. I try to do as Jesus Christ taught and that's to "love thy neighbor as thyself." Loving everyone is hard! Believe me when I say I am far from accomplishing that, but I know that when I sincerely love someone for who they are, then I have added an eternal friend.
