Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a ninth grader who loves to read and write. I want to be an author when I grow up, preferably the religious field. I run cross country and track, and my favorite classes are Seminary, Language Arts and Social Studies. I really love Charles Dickens and The Lord of the Rings. I play the piano, and love to listen to music. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because no other path could be so joyous to me. The message of the gospel-even the very definition of gospel- is good news. Getting through life isn't easy, but the Spirit is ever comforting. Simply because it makes me happy is not where my testimony comes from, though. Such a deep, overcoming love for the Savior and for the gospel washes over me at times, and following Him seems the only real option. I'm incredibly lucky to have been born into the church, so rough parts through faith come relatively early in my life. I didn't understand it very well until the rough parts of my adolescence, where it became (and becomes) the leading beacon of hope, showing me that through trials faith increases. Everything about being a Mormon just seems to make sense. Everything falls into place and feels right.

How I live my faith

As a teenager, I take opportunities to tell my friends exactly why I believe what I believe. At church, I pass the sacrament and go to classes to teach me. I go with my father to "home teach" three families. This means we teach them principles of the gospel and make sure they're doing all right.
