Hi I'm Brad

My wife and I are happy parents for four beautiful children. I like to bike, ski, hunt, camp, hike and enjoy the great outdoors!

About Me

I'm an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time in the mountains and enjoying the beauty there and the wildlife. I enjoy both road and mountain biking. Especially mountain biking single track trails. Skiing and snow shoeing in the winter, camping and hiking all year long and of course hunting in the fall. I'm an network engineer by trade and I enjoy working with my hands. While I enjoy my hobbies, my true happiness comes by spending time with my family. Of course, spending time with them in the mountains is a plus.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon. The church taught me who God is and what my relationship is to him and to Jesus Christ. I learned about where we came from, why we're here on Earth and what blessings the future holds. While I learned these things in my youth, like any teenager or young adult, I wanted to find out for myself if it was all real. For me, that involved reading the scriptures. The Bible and Book of Mormon. I needed to know for myself that God, our Heavenly Father and our savior Jesus Christ are real. It took much scripture study and sincere prayer, but I have found out for myself that God answers prayers. I've felt the warmth and peace that comes thru the Holy Ghost, testifying to me that I am a child of God, that he loves me, and there is a prophet and apostles on the Earth today, just like thousands of years ago, to help us learn more of him.

How I live my faith

My faith grows by trying to live by Christ's teachings. To teach my children how to live good lives and be kind to others. I'm definitely not perfect, but I try to do what is right. I believe I can live my faith not only by attending church and keeping the commandments, but by avoiding the negative things in life and by being a good example to my children and those around me.
