Hi I'm Erick

I am a husband, a father of 3 girls, an avid reader, and a collector. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have worked in the custodial/janitorial industry for over 19 years. I am interested in renewable energy and self sustainable living, although I have yet to achieve it. I prefer country living to the city life, and have been married to the same person for over 17 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I can remember when the missionaries first started teaching my parents about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 3 years old. I don't recall their faces, but I remember how shiny their shoes were and their dark suits. I especially recall the feeling in our home when they would come to teach my parents. I was baptized when I was 8 years old and at that time I made a promise to my mother that I would marry someone in the Temple. When I became older I was scared when asked to serve a mission and ran away from the church for 10 years, but I always knew that the Church was where I needed to be. Also the promise to my mother was haunting me. Knowing this helped me find my way back to the church, where I was taught more of the truthfulness and teachings of the Gospel. I did marry in the Temple and kept my promise to my mother.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by trying to be the best person I know how. I try to be kind to others. I try to listen when others are speaking. I try to be honest and truthful in all things. I try to be the best I can.
