Hi I'm Tracy

I'm a transplanted New Mexican living in the green paradise of Vermont. I'm a Mormon - I joined the church 15 years ago.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother, daughter, editor and cat caretaker. I love to garden, travel, and I read voraciously - on all kinds of topics. I believe if I quit learninig, I'll quit growing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Christian family, but always had questions such as "why don't we have prophets today? I attended college and many of my professors and fellow students denied the existence of God and Christ. I couldn't do that, I'd had prayers answered and felt the spirit on several occasions, but I felt I was missing something. My husband was a member, but it wasn't until we had children that I began to seriously read the Book of Mormon and take the missionary lessons. Now I can truly believe what John wrote: "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

How I live my faith

I've been a volunteer for my children's schools, for my son's football team, at the local library, and in professional organizations. I'm the secretary in our statewide women's organization for church. I have the good fortune to travel with a wonderful group of women that visit the women's organizations in the Mormon churches all around the church. We check on their spiritual and temporal welfare.
