Hi I'm Ryan Thayn

Born in NY, enjoy time with my family. I currently work as an air traffic controller at Internation Airport and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my my wife and playing with my son. I also enjoy hanging out with family and friends. My interests are watching football/basketball, playing sports such as basketball, tennis and golf. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as snowboarding, wakeboarding and mtn biking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family and I enjoyed my experiences growing up in the church. I was able to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true church of God through many personal experiences through prayer, study and through actions. I was able to share the gospel at the age of 19 full time 24/7 for 2 years in Germany away from my family, having to speak a foriegn langauge. Those 2 years were wonderful and I was able to more fully see Gods love for me and all people. I know family is so important to Gods plan and I am grateful for my family. I know I am child of God and I am grateful that he has restored his church here upon the earth today.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through my example, I hope others see something different in me and realize the choices I make and things I do are based on my faith and love for God and hopefully result in a positive example to those around me.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Ryan Thayn
We do not worship Joseph Smith, we worship God the Eternal Father and his Son the Lord Jesus Christ. We beileve Joseph was a instrument in Gods hands in restoring his gospel and church to the earth today, and we know him to be a Prophet of God just as in Bible times and his authority as a prophet has been passed on to the now current prophet Thomas S. Monson who leads and guides the church through the direction of God. Show more Show less
