Hi I'm Kori

I am a wife, mother, and hair stylist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa, AZ. I am married to a wonderful husband and we just had our first baby boy a couple months ago. I work at a salon doing hair on Fridays and Saturdays and am a stay at home mom the rest of the week. I LOVE being a mom! It is the most amazing experience! In my spare time I am a book guru! I absolutely love a good book. I also love learning and going to school- I plan on being a therapist for special needs kids one day. I love to go on dates with my husband and eat Mexican food! My husband is a huge college football fan and even though I complain sometimes- one of my favorite dates of all times has become going to the ASU football games. We get season tickets every year and it has become a great family tradition! I love my family and am excited to keep it growing and see where life takes us!

Why I am a Mormon

I have such a strong testimony of the Savior. He has been there for me through it all. Life has so many struggles and challenges and without my testimony of Jesus Christ and without the gospel I would have a lot harder of a time getting through them. I have witnessed so many miracles around me and I know it is our Heavenly Father. I grew up a member of this church and some people might try and question my belief- saying it's all I have known and I only believe because I was taught to. And while this is true- I still developed my own testimony. It took a lot of prayer and scripture reading to know for myself that this is right and it is true. My life is by no means perfect- and even though I am happy and have an amazing family and husband supporting me, I still have trials and struggles. Without the gospel of Jesus Christ and without the Holy Ghost by my side I truly would be lost. I have a firm belief in the Atonement. Jesus Christ died for our sins - what a truly amazing sacrifice! He was willing to pay for our sins so that we can return to our Father in Heaven. I can personally testify that this is real and true- the Savior is my friend! He is there helping me every step of the way and our Heavenly Father send us trials to realize this and become closer with Him, even though it's not easy. This is why I have a testimony of this gospel- it lifts me up and helps me to become a better person and try to be like the Savior. It saves me in my time of grief and sorrow, and pain. This is the true church of God. I feel it in my whole being and I cannot and will not ever deny this.

How I live my faith

I also visit teach 3 lovely ladies! They all have gone through so much in their lives and they teach me valuable lessons every time I see them.
