Hi I'm Allen

I'm a father, a husband, an outdoor enthusiast and a CPA. I love to wakeboard, mountain bike and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up playing baseball, soccer and football throughout our neigborhood in California. I guess I never grew up because I love to do the same things now as an adult with my son and two daughters (with another son on the way)! I now work as a CPA doing tax work in the financial services industry. I have a great wife who even acts like she's interested when I come home and continue to talk about my work. We love spending time together with our family in this great area of Colorado that we now live in.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon becasue I understand that God has a plan for us. I have learned that we are on earth to learn and to grow, to be happy and to serve others. I'm a Mormon because God has restored the fulness of His Gospel to the earth, because Jesus has showed us the example we should follow and just like I strive to be like my earthly father, I strive to be like my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently not only have the oppurtonity to help referee youth soccer and coach flag football and soccer, but I have the opportunity to work in the leadership of our local ward in the church. In my current role at church I get to work with all the members in challenging and rewarding situations. I have been able to help the youth coordinate serving meals at a local soup kitchen and work with the young men with scouting merit badges and campouts. I have been able to work with the primary children to help teach reverence and other righteous principles. I have been fortunate to work with donations as they have come in from charitable people and as they have gone out to help people in need on our community. I have been blessed to work with some awesome people, learn from their examples and feel the spirit of the Lord as they serve those around them.
