Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a Mormon, aspiring photographer, student and mother of 4.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of 4, student and aspiring photographer. I'm very shy, but there is one thing I never avoid talking about and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to read and write and learning something new brings me great joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have tried other religions, never one for very long and I haven't found any other that brings me as much happiness as this one. When I go to church or listen to teachings from our prophet, I feel a burning feeling inside and everything in my world is at peace, even if the day's schedule is hectic. I no longer have to worry about what's going to happen to my family in the event of accidents or illness and when I am troubled by something, I pray for peace and the Lord grants me that. I can study his teachings and follow his example and I never wonder what it is that I'm supposed to be doing or if I am doing it correctly. My husband and I are constantly being told by people that we always look happy, even when he was laid off for almost a year and it's true. Being a Mormon does bring happiness and peace, because we now of God's plan and love for us. With that, we never fail.

How I live my faith

My children and I both help out with food drives and Feeding the homeless at shelters. I am always looking for opportunities to serve as Christ would have and we talk about his gospel and loving example in our home daily. Scriptures and pray guide us through our everyday difficulties, there isn't anything the Lord doesn't understand and help us through. We try to be the best neighbors and friends we can and ask for God's guidance in all that we do.
